As a fellow human with ADHD, I know how overwhelming it can be to seek support (especially when you’ve spent years hoarding shame like abandoned hobbies). Just know, you don’t have to make sense of this alone, and you don’t have to have it all figured out before reaching out. You’ve probably heard every version of what ADHD is supposed to be: a disorder, a superpower, a lack of effort, a gift. When you’re deeply engaged in something you love, it’s hard to see it as a problem. But when everyday tasks like dishes or laundry feel overwhelming, it’s hard to see it as a strength.
