Emotions are the language of energy. In this language, there are critical messages to be understood. Emotions communicate what your needs are. Your mind translates this information so that needs can be met. Sometimes, it feels unsafe to acknowledge your emotions so the intellect, instead, pushes emotions down. With emotions silenced, you become deprived of connection to yourself, to others and needs go unmet. In this deprivation, you also lose authenticity.
