If you are in a challenging or traumatic situation (e.g. loss of a loved one, coping with sudden life changes, history of abuse), good therapy can help. I am a registered psychologist with 25+ years of clinical experience helping people deal effectively with adversity, loss, stress and trauma. We will work in a respectful, collaborative manner utilizing trauma-informed evidence-based treatment methods. Many who see me are working to cope with grief after a sudden death, including after a suicide, and all are working in therapy to process and learn skills to help them mindfully manage the complexities of their situation.
