I have been an individual and family/couples therapist for more than 25 years - I think people today are more comfortable than ever creating good smart relationships with therapists and are seeking out a good fit. The internet helps with this. For me, a good fit would be someone who is ready for work, has an open mind, and is curious about themselves and interested in making change(s). I am a clinician who is very accepting, direct and fairly straIght forward as well as supportive and kind. Because I have been in practice for a while, I have the ability to work with a variety of different people with different needs/issues.
