I have spent nearly three decades working on the front line of addiction and mental health, not from behind a desk, but on the front lines, in mosts settings (withdrawal management, treatment, outpatient programs, harm reduction programs, individual counselling, case management, crisis intervention, and family support). I've sat with people during their hardest moments and walked alongside them through recovery. I also teach a Mental Health and Addiction program at the college level, which means my practice is always grounded in current research and evolving best practises.
