I have found that my style and approach work well with adults who may be dealing with the challenges and stresses of life transitions, past hurt from families and other relationships, or using unhealthy behaviors to cope with life. This often takes the form of anxiety, chronic feelings of numbness or hurting, fear about the future, and relying on coping such as substance abuse. I work together with my clients to help them navigate these life issues, to build skills that allow them to feel better about themselves now, and to find a future vision for themselves of satisfaction, strength, and hope.
