Parenting is the most invested relationship one can partake in. There are many tasks and challenges involved in guiding little people towards becoming adults. Life can force families to face events that impact their ability to feel safe and function successfully. This is when it becomes key to incorporate "it takes a whole community to raise a child", and I believe that people do the best they can with what they know.
