My passion is supporting individuals in overcoming struggles with avoidant behaviour and maladaptive coping patterns including addiction involving alcohol and drug use, or behaviours surrounding sex, pornography, and relationships. My goal is to help individuals gain a better understanding of, and ability to cope with, challenging life experiences including trauma, mental health difficulties, and family of origin pain. I teach strategies to manage overwhelming emotions, including combatting shame, anxiety, and depression, and skills to change problematic behaviours and challenge beliefs that keep you stuck.
