I believe a strong rapport is the bedrock of effective therapy, and thus have spent much of my career researching the ingredients of a positive therapeutic relationship and outcome, before putting what I’ve learned into practice. Since 2009, I have enjoyed working clinically with folks experiencing conflict in their relationships, and those struggling with either overwhelming emotions or with feeling disconnected from them. I am committed to trying to understand the deeper, contextual reasons behind a person’s suffering, defining the “what” of a problem before moving to the “how” in creating change.
