Problems have a way, often many ways, of intruding and trodding through our lives, in ways that undermine our wishes, our hopes and the relationships with people we hold dear. They can leave us believing we are powerless and the situation is hopeless. Problems can use language that make them seem all powerful, sometimes the words themselves can make them appear ‘almost permanent’ (depression, anxiety, trauma, and so on). They can cling to us..
