It takes courage to initiate counseling and therapy. Working with the mind and our thought processes takes curiosity, patience, and understanding. However, it is so important to not only address our thought processes but to also look at the environments we were in that helped shape the way we see ourselves. Our experiences, relationships, and connections impact our overall well being. I take great pride in you sharing that process with me so that you can achieve learning, healing, growing, and a sense of self-acceptance and love. I too have done this personal work and understand the challenges it brings but also the rewards.
