Hello, my name is Rebecca (she/her), and I am a Registered Psychotherapist. I obtained my Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology as well as a minor in Gender Studies prior to completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Throughout my education, I learned the importance of awareness of intersectionality, and how overlapping identities such as sex, gender, race, ethnicity, sexuality, and religion, can be empowering and oppressing at the same time. I believe it is important to acknowledge and explore how these social identities and the roles that you hold play a part in your life experiences.
