I am a community psychotherapist, grounded in my work in spiritual care and supported by the evidence-based modalities of DBT, CBT, narrative therapy, and somatic therapy. I am focused on politicizing therapy through the teachings of mad studies, addressing the social location of clients and how they are impacted by the loss of power in their lives that contributes to grief and anxiety. I bring in the wholeness of the human being through a holistic, decolonial, trauma-informed, and client-centred approach. My student training was at the University Health Network in Toronto.
