Most of my clients are men (20s-40s) who are intelligent, self-reflective and successful, but who still somehow feel that something’s missing, or that they haven’t "grown up" in some key way. They are often experiencing some combination of anxiety, shame, low self-esteem, anger, resentment, or relationship problems. I try to create a non-judgmental space for them to feel seen, heard and understood. It’s important for men to share their struggles, fears and shames with other caring and supportive men. This goes against much of our cultural conditioning but it helps us feel that we’re not alone and that we’re actually okay.
