Many of my clients seek relief from issues they find painfully disruptive as they struggle to manage or change their circumstances. They have difficulty developing healthy coping mechanisms for their situation, and it is now manifesting in faulty perspectives, assumptions or values. My approach to counselling focuses on the client by looking at coping skills for immediate relief and then heavier issues to understand the source of pain.
