Have you been feeling hurt, misunderstood or that your needs are not being met? Do you believe you should be able to handle everything on your own, because you don’t want to bother the people around you or in your experience relying on others has often led to disappointment? While I understand your reluctance about leaning on someone, I believe the first step to healing, often means asking for a fresh perspective and support. This work is personal to me. I want to normalize seeking support for mental health and reducing the stigma around it. You do not have to be in a crisis to begin therapy, everyday minor stressors are enough.
