By seeking out psychotherapy or psychoanalysis, you’re making intentional space for yourself to step out of the productivity hustle, slow down, and listen to parts of you that have been ignored or pushed aside. What does it feel like when someone really listens? I listen on multiple registers: To the voices inside you that are loud, and quiet, and hidden, and clear; painful, shame-inducing, grief-stricken; creative, aspirational, and joyous. I am attentive to your inner world as well as the sociopolitical surround that impacts livability, access, and potential.
