Careful listening, with an openness to meet people where they are, in their infinite variability, is at the heart of psychotherapy. I have training in traditional (psychoanalytically oriented) psychotherapy and also in cognitive-behavioral therapy, and use either or both approaches as fits the particular individual. I treat adults, age 18 and up, suffering from depression and anxiety, or encountering other life crises. I also offer couples counseling.
