Adolescence is hard on kids and hard on parents. Teens have so much going on and can really struggle. Between school stuff, friend drama, boyfriends, girlfriends, breakups, jobs, sports, and trying to cope and manage with everything coming their way, it's no wonder they blow up, shut down, and lose it. And when parents try to help, they're "nagging" or "don't understand." Counselling can help them find their way back. I work teens and young adults to help figure things out and manage their big feelings in a healthier way, letting them feel more in control, reduce anxiety and depression, and help get them back on track.
