Hi there! My name is Laurie Sorenson, and I am a licensed couple and family therapist (LMFT) practicing in California. I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families struggling with complex trauma, PTSD, and attachment issues. I am a trauma-informed, strengths-based clinician. My approach integrates eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), somatic intervention, and internal family systems (IFS) to help build regulation skills and move through negative experiences. I work with children, adolescents, and adult clients. I specialize in treating trauma, anxiety, attachment issues, and low self-esteem.
