Trauma, grief and loss issues compromise the bulk of my client caseload. I find that adults can hold the impact of childhood trauma for years before seeking psychotherapy and often mask their pain with anxiety, depression or compulsive behaviors. My experience is that getting to the hidden pain and strengths that each client carries through his or her daily lives and relationships are the core of healing. There are no quick fixes, but exploring ways to accent life skills, improve self-respect and relationships are keys to building more wholeness in each person's heart, mind, body and spirit. Especially now.
