Parents often reach out when their child is feeling overwhelmed, anxious, struggling with big emotions, friendships, school stress, or changes at home. Sometimes children don’t yet have the words to explain what’s happening, and it may show up through behaviour, withdrawal, or emotional outbursts. The children and teens I work with often need a space where they can feel safe, understood, and accepted without pressure to “fix” things right away. They may be working toward feeling more confident, managing emotions, building friendships, strengthening family relationships, and understanding themselves better.
