Namaste! Welcome! Life can present so many transitions, especially as we age. Grief and loss seem to increase rapidly as we say goodbye to family, friends, and old ways of being in the world. Our bodies, ever-changing, can show up or not show up in different ways, which makes even the simplest of tasks challenging, at times. A deepening sense of awareness of the “next phase” seems to get stronger. How do we show up in the world, now? What is our purpose, what gives us meaning? Sometimes even the word “Aging” can be scary or give us a somatic response. Anxiety and depression may creep in; our ways of processing are different.
