My current practice is focused on helping individuals and couples address the harmful consequences of trauma, addictions, infidelity, problematic sexual behaviours, and challenging life transitions. For me, the most important element of successful therapy is the quality of the therapeutic alliance between client and therapist. I employ a number of evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing, mindful self-compassion, and trauma-focused approaches, tailored to the individual needs of my clients. For couples, I also draw on the Gottman approach and emotion-focused therapy.
