As a therapist with over 20 years of experience, my clients often say they wish they had reached out sooner for support. Shame or guilt had gotten in their way, thinking they should be able to make changes alone. Quite honestly, we are not meant to do things alone. I offer treatment for struggles such as family stressors, parenting biological and adoptive children, depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and childhood maltreatment experiences. I work extensively with parents/adults who have had difficult childhood experiences to help them change patterns from their upbringings and feel more successful in their relationships.
