I have worked in the field for over 40 years. My specialty is recovery-oriented services focusing on mental health. People need the opportunity to freely discuss, and heal from, their journey. I specialized for many years in vocational rehabilitation counseling. In addition, I am a breast cancer survivor. I have experienced first hand the grief, loss, and uncertainty of a life-altering illness. Teaching has honed my skills in offering knowledge and mentorship to those working on their personal or professional life plan. A compassionate, calm and open dialogue will build strength in coping and conviction in recovery.
