Summer Central and we're in the midst of a heat wave as America's 250th Birthday arrives. Believe it or not, I remember the 200th Celebration and what a joy it was. Living in N.Y.C. as a young adult was awesome. Fire hydrants were painted Red White and Blue. The tall ships sailed up and down the Hudson, and watching the fireworks from a pier on the river was unforgetable! I'm hoping you get to enjoy it now as much as I did then.
