There are many ways we humans can find ourselves stuck in patterns that don’t serve us, in our jobs, in our relationships, as parents, or in our creative lives and what makes us happy. I have found EMDR to be a highly practical way to guide my clients to discover for themselves the beliefs and emotions that operate sometimes in our awareness and often outside of consciousness that can feel almost like the strings of a puppeteer; moving us to automatically react, feel, think, and behave in our lives in ways that seem to want to be helpful but often miss the mark, or even at times lead us wildly astray.
