Some pain is easier to navigate with someone who understands. If your life has included things like divorce, blended family dynamics, grief, family estrangement, family neurodivergence, career upheaval, or anxiety, you may want a therapist who can relate. I’ve been there, too. I don’t have a silver bullet, neither does anyone else, but therapy can feel more effective when you don’t have to explain everything from the ground up.
