Some of us struggle to find the ground beneath our feet. We suffer in silence or feel too much shame to reach out for help. The world can be experienced as a very uncertain and unpredictable place. When we feel our humanity to be endangered, or our sense of self to be broken, the world can feel frightening and we can feel very alone. What we depend on is not secure. Our relationships, our jobs, our daily experiences can feel quite disapointing. The future can feel very unpredictable, especially when life hands us unexpected changes-as it always will. We may feel that we are not resilient enough; not good enough. Very painful.
