You can inherit more than a name and a nose — sometimes you inherit the anxiety too: the bracing, the over-functioning, the sense that rest has to be earned. A lot of my work is helping people set down what was never theirs to carry. I see teens, youth, and women, often people of colour navigating life transitions, depression, shaky self-worth, and the kind of trauma that gets passed down quietly across generations. I'm direct but warm, I won't just nod along, and I think the right metaphor can do what a textbook can't. And because feelings don't always translate, I work in English, Hindi, Gujarati and Urdu, and understand Punjabi.
