Sometimes clients believe that therapy won’t work for them because of past experiences or what they have seen in media. I like to get creative to think about ways to make the therapy environment work for each unique person. If something doesn’t work at first, then that means we haven’t found the right thing for you… yet. Clients and their families often come to me confused or hopeless. They describe feeling like they have so many problems that it will be difficult and time consuming to see improvements.
