If you find yourself sorting through how your life has been shaped by culture, institutions, and the pressures of contemporary capitalism, therapy can be a place to consider those forces more deliberately and clarify your relationship to them. My practice draws from Narrative Therapy, Poststructural philosophy, and Feminist thought. I work from the premise that social, economic, and relational forces shape how we come to understand ourselves. What can feel like personal “failure” is often the friction between lived experience and dominant ideas.
